Fremington Rural: Gary Beglin
Gary as a retired businessman, has the time, energy, and commitment to focus entirely on local issues that matter to the residents of Fremington Rural. With years of experience in business, he understands the importance of practical thinking, financial responsibility and the efficient and effective use of resources.
Fremington Rural faces real challenges, not least due to the many major housing developments. Planning, infrastructure, waste and recycling services need to work better. Gary wants to bring a no-nonsense, results-driven approach to the council—one that focuses on delivering solutions, cutting through bureaucracy, and always putting local people first.
Ilfracombe: Paul Crabb
Paul is an effective and active councillor working for Ilfracombe. "My priorities include fighting for fair funding for our lovely area and it’s services, ensuring it is enhanced and not spoilt, and making sure Ilfracombe’s voice is heard, loud and clear. There is much work to do and more issues to address in these difficult times, especially in the shadow of the government slashing funding to Devon to send it to Northern cities. Councils themselves are being forced to change, and that’s why my years of experience as your County Councillor will be important as we face the challenges ahead." Paul Crabb
