So you want to be a Councillor?
The local Conservative Party is running an online Zoom event for those thinking about standing for the Conservative Party someday. Even if it is not something you are ready to do right now, it is never too early to get involved.
If you live in the North Devon or the Torridge area, even if you are not yet a member of the Conservative Party but want to take part. You must register in advance and you will need to be on the electoral register in the North Devon or Torridge area.
In the session we will have some sitting councillors to speak and answer questions about what it is like to be a councillor, the process of becoming one, campaigning ahead of and during an election.
This is an informal meeting; it doesn’t commit you to anything and we look forward to seeing you.
