Romansleigh resident Paul, is an experienced councillor and is no stranger to the challenges being faced by local government, being both a town and district councillor for, and former mayor of, South Molton.
Paul is also a local business owner and knows how tough it has been for residents and businesses across Chulmleigh and Landkey over the past year, which is why he is determined to fight for a high level of service from the County Council, making sure it reflects the investment of council tax paid by all residents annually.
A good quality rural road network, fair funding for education and high-quality elderly care services across Chulmleigh and Landkey are all priorities for Paul. He wants to champion great schools like Chulmleigh College and our network of rural primary schools, to ensure rural families have the access to the highest quality of education, without having to travel miles. If elected, Paul will work with fellow councillors at all levels, and lobby decision makers to secure the investment and commitment needed to tackle the underfunding Devon education has previously experienced, supporting young people and families.
Paul is committed to getting the best for residents across Chulmleigh and Landkey and will work closely with parish councils to secure the services, infrastructure and investment they need to thrive as we begin to recover from the pandemic.
